Kamaka HF-2DI Slotted Deluxe Koa Concert Ukulele (#241025)

The Kamaka HF2 is the intermediate size between the standard and tenor. Has a fuller tone, while retaining the ease of the smaller standard. Also known as an Alto.
All models are made of Hawaiian koa wood with a lacquer finish to show fine grain highlights. Necks are made of mahogany, and fingerboards and bridges are rosewood. All models now include a custom Kamaka Ukulele case.
Deluxe models feature a rosewood top binding, "rope" purfling, "rope" rosette around the soundhole, and higher graded koa wood with more figuring and curl.
The slotted headstock allows an increased break angle of the string at the nut, which increases the tension of the strings. This increased tension increases the volume, sustain, and brightness of the instrument.
